  • Infinite Crisis has shut down.

With its departure, Dawnbase will be going into permanent read-only mode and will remain as both an archive of information about Infinite Crisis, and a reminder of the times we all had with the game.

Hats off to you all. It was a pleasure, ladies and gentlemen.

This guide is for those players whom like to roam from mid and win every Lane for your team. Understand first that I didn't include any mana items because if you understand how to conserve mana in your lane you don't need any extra mana. that being said, with a limited mana pool you will only be able to engage in one or two fights before you have to replenish your mana. So let's start with winning mid lane. You are playing a top teir assassin which means you have top tier attack damage. You will start with a nil weapon with recycle which will allow easy last hitting ( and yes last hitting is important) and give you some health. At level one you overmatch most other melee champs other than maybe Doomsday but will have a very tough lane against any ranged champions (Green Lantern is the bane of your existence). if you can last hit then once you hit level 6 you will achieve lane dominance with the stupid amount of damage your ultimate will afford you. The first item you want to get is soultaker katana to level 3 ( you stop at level 3 because you just want to start collecting stacks). The second item I opt for is huntress' crossbow. The CDR it provides can make chasing a lot easier and greatly increases your dps. Claymore is the 3rd item and is essential for any attack damage champion. Once you achieve lane dominance (which can be as early as level 4 but usually takes until level 6 with your ult) you will want to start applying global pressure. You can do this multiple ways, the first is to ward the enemy jungle early and try and kill the jungler right after they completed a camp and are at low health. The second option is to put your stealth ability to work and start ganking lanes. I like to travel through the enemy jungle on my way to gank on the chance I can catch an easy kill on the jungler, this also will usually put me behind the enemy laner and give them a terrible surprise. As a mid laner your purpose in ganking is different than if you were the jungler and ganking. As a mid laner the only way to get value from your gank is to make sure you come away with a kill our you are losing farm and falling behind in lane. Failing one gank is recoverable, falling to get a kill in 2 or more ganks means you will be falling terribly behind your enemy mid laner if he is just staying in lane and farming. Remember, don't leave lane unless you have killed the enemy laner and have the lane pushed or if you have teleport you can gank another lane and teleport back to your lane. If you fail to push your lane before you leave there is a very good chance you will lose your turret. If you ever have a question or just wants some tips I play on the NA server and my IGN is rabidswampdonkey
