  • Infinite Crisis has shut down.

With its departure, Dawnbase will be going into permanent read-only mode and will remain as both an archive of information about Infinite Crisis, and a reminder of the times we all had with the game.

Hats off to you all. It was a pleasure, ladies and gentlemen.

This is a Cyborg work in progress. When GD comes back up this will be completed. Please leave critiques and comments. Thanks!

-Also ZOD, I stole 'Cybeezy' because it was too cool to ignore.

    Overview
Cyborg does not have the escape of a Green Arrow or Gaslight Batman so he needs to be able to sustain in lane more than his other fleet-feeted counter parts. I have even seen Cyborg find a happy place in the Mid but this guide will mostly focus on playing Cybeezy bot-lane with support (personally -- hopefully from Zat or Harley -- I digress). There are some caveats to the items and I have found Cyborg plays well with different builds and there is room for customization to say the least. You could go all Glass-Cannony alas Green Arrow, but I prefer to be able to take a few shots due to Beezy's shoes being so heavy.

    Laning
Cyborg is the king of Must Be in Position (MBIP). Laning with him is all based on how you MBIP for everything. Beezy does not have an escape like Green Arrow or Gaslight Batman. Instead he has heavy feet and you need to play as such. Always keep an eye on the enemy jungler as you are an easy target if you are pushed too far. Remember to last hit and maintain your poke. Play the vertical and stay on the move working in tandem with your support.

    Mid-End Game
Stick with your team whenever possible and to a point of almost always. Team fights are your bread and butter because you can maintain high damage shots but you MBIP. Do not run in and pretend you are Jason Statham or Neo, instead act more like Bob Swagger, and snipe them out. Once you figure out your positioning you will find team fights to be enjoyable and not just times for opportunistic pot shots. You will learn to be a viable part of the team. One bad habit of many marksmen is sitting TOO far outside of team fights and not contributing enough. There is a thin line and Beezy will make you learn it one way or the other.
