  • Infinite Crisis has shut down.

With its departure, Dawnbase will be going into permanent read-only mode and will remain as both an archive of information about Infinite Crisis, and a reminder of the times we all had with the game.

Hats off to you all. It was a pleasure, ladies and gentlemen.

Okay, for starters I think many players in here have met a lots of newbies in the game.
Most of them haven't actually get to know IC better and actually don't have a clue how to make the game work for your team.

This is all based on dreams that they would understand english and be ready to being helped.

First thing, is the character picks.
-Use in-game chat to communicate with them
-Try to tell them what your team already have (some players are eager to pick champions quickly)
-Let's say the team has GasBat already picked. You maybe shouldn't have another marksman?
    -Does someone shout "jungle"?
-You can have two junglers, but people usually don't realice it, so stick with the one jungler plan
-Okay, we need some kind of tank and some supporting?
-Your team needs one "bigger" champion to take most of the damage for that GasBat of yours.
-Usually someone takes Doomsday or Atrocitus, so it's fine
-Now you have place for two squishy heroes that deal a lots of damage. Or in case, heals, gives buffs and nerfs for enemies
-You should pick one as a more supportive one (Zatanna) and other as more burst damage one (Green Lantern)
-Now your team has pretty nice line-up of champs
-In case your team has 2 tanks and 3 blasters, GG

    Second thing, Stolen Powers.
    -Who are you playing?
-If your heading to the jungle, you really need Detonate to clear the camps fast.
-Playing as an adc you need Invulnerability to stay alive.
    -Support? One Healing Wave, please.
-But wait, no-one has Surveillance Cameras? Usually it's good to have 2 players picking the cameras. Trust me, you need it.
-Enemies have a lot of assassins? Maybe pick Psychic Assault, so they won't get away easily.

Third, you're in the game, how about lanes?
-Usually "meta" is 1 top, 2 jungle, 2 bot
    -But that doesn't usually work.
-Find out is there any duos playing, not just solo
-Place marksman with some support to bot or top
-Decide who goes to the jungle and where in it he starts
-Find out if someone goes solo and make sure, the lane won't be horrible for him
-If it is, you should lose your own lane and go help him (if possible)
-Keeping everyone safe as long as possible makes game a lot easier
-Do not go too aggressive and dive too deep, usually that doesn't do any good for you
-Remember to communicate as much as possible

Remember, you can't complain if your not helping. If you are and that doesn't work, then you might give up.
We're all learning and the game has a growing player base, so let's not shout at them and try to act like their shit. They are not. They are just you couple games earlier. Good feedback and supportive attitude takes the game to a whole new level. We need to get there.
