  • Infinite Crisis has shut down.

With its departure, Dawnbase will be going into permanent read-only mode and will remain as both an archive of information about Infinite Crisis, and a reminder of the times we all had with the game.

Hats off to you all. It was a pleasure, ladies and gentlemen.

Thank you for looking at my Guide to playing the SuperDoge himself. This Champion is still new and fresh, and so there is still no "right" way of building him quite yet, but in my opinion, I think this is best way to play Krypto. I know what you're thinking "I'm a new, young, and impressionable support player, who just wants to be a STAR!" and this guide will help you get there.

Abilities- Your Q (bone) is your main tool to executing over the wall escapes, long-short enemy chases, and enhancing your W (shield) and E (howl).
A common poking method for Krypto is to use your Q to get up close and then using your E to damage enemies around you, this tactic is also good for trying to clear a minion wave. This is entry level Krypto mechanic. If the enemy team is can catch and/or heavily damage you when trying to execute this tactic, here is an slightly higher mechanic. Quickly use your E and right when the howl effect and damage goes off, dash to an ally or ally minion with your W (minions will not get the shield but if an ally is in the path of the shield, they will). That will allow you to make a quick getaway and look a bit flashy at the same time.
Using your R (ULTRA BARK) can and is an excellent tool to use against in the bot lane and teamfights. Your R can cancel other champions ultimates like Stargirl's, Mecha WonderWoman's , and Gaslight Batman's (if timed correctly). Its can stop enemies in there escapes like Gaslight Batman's grabbling hook escape or any of the WonderWomans' escapes.
In any chasing situation it is best to dash over the walls of the map with your Q, and better addition to this will have to be using the Q over a wall to a lane with your minions in it, doing this will allow you dash to the minions and gain more distance. Using R after closing a gap will provide a bit more time, but I would advise on NOT doing this, saving the R for teamfights or executing enemies with low health.

Items- The Must Three are just that A MUST! Obtaining the final tiers of both the Abin Sur's and the Ekron will provide all the power a dog like you will need to deal enough damage to hurt. Getting the Power suit will allow you to get more of your shield, which is always good (more shield, less problems!). I also will state that getting the Olympus will allow you to get more defenses and provide some back to your team. The rest of the item list is obvious, Bracer for healing, Mirror and Sorrow for reflecting some damage back to the enemies, and the Aegis for getting blocking a possible deadly skill.

ARE YOU FIGHTING SOMEONE PLAYING KRYPTO?- Is someone using my guide or just playing Krypto and you just can deal with them? After fighting many people as the SuperDoge Juke Master, I often wonder why the enemy doesn't figure out the obvious way to kill me. If a Krypto throws his bone into the lane to try to make you follow him just so he can dash over the wall, you will need one of 2 things: An ally with you and/or a Rip Hunter. The Ally should position himself near the bone while you chase, so if he does dash to the bone, a little surprise will be in store for him. Rip Hunter can be activated on his bone area and then activate a second time to warp to the target spot, not many people try this, it will surprise the HECK out of the krypto who lets face it, is low health and is the only reason why he is running. Krypto may be a king at juking, but that doesn't mean he can't be brought down.

Stolen Powers- Robin's 5 wards will be perfect for krypto who seems to be able to last longer than most people in lane because of his shield reducing the damage, meaning a lot more time in lane. Having 5 wards will be very helpful. Ivy's healing will be good for dishing out the damage with your bot lane partner after giving them a boost of life, that including with your shield. Another option besides from Ivy's healing is Krypto's healing, healing plus healing over time will be helpful.

Augments- The default augments provided to you are still good to use, I have used them and it seemed fine and non-hindering to the item build. The augments I have provided have been chosen by me because they will make you tankier towards throughout the game, scaling per level seems to be best of getting the most of anything, which is true, it will just take until lvl 10 and beyond to fully realize this. Towards the end of the game, you will tank enough to go the enemy base and just dance on there doorstep.

End- This has been my guide to playing Krypto the SuperDoge. I hope this guide will lead you to many victories and end up with you being the MVP who carried your team.

Quick Note: Always give the DoomsDayDevice to Krypto, he will make it to the tower/enemy base in no time flat.
