Like all Controllers, Nightmare Superman scales well off of both Abin Sur's Lantern and Eye of Ekron modded for bonus power damage. That being said, every single item in this build has Will on it, full build providing an additional 100 power damage from Eye of Ekron and more than 3,500 max Will. All of the items, except for Steel's Breastplate, also have power damage, providing Nightmare Superman with a build that improves him across the board.

The Logoz goes great with Nightmare Superman's passive, preventing him from losing his stacks so long as the enemy who killed him gets killed. GL's Meteor Drop can help with getting self revivals.

Qward Gambit provides additional sustain and a group shield for team fights that can also save NSupes himself, again preventing loss of The Logoz stacks.

Mr. Terrific's Mask provides more Will and Power damage and works well with the armor steal of his Q, allowing him to deal more damage with all of his moves, the 5% power life-steal mod improving his sustain, especially when fighting against other power damage characters, who generally have lower power armor already.

Steel's Breastplate provides the HP and attack armor necessary to survive setting up your moves to defeat an enemy, while the Active keyword can substitute for his passive if it is on cool-down, ensuring you stay alive so you don't lose your The Logoz stacks.
