  • Infinite Crisis has shut down.

With its departure, Dawnbase will be going into permanent read-only mode and will remain as both an archive of information about Infinite Crisis, and a reminder of the times we all had with the game.

Hats off to you all. It was a pleasure, ladies and gentlemen.

Why Nightmare Batman on Coast City?: He is a champion with a lot of pick off potential. With help from a teammate, any target out of place will be quickly taken care off. His ult also allows you to cancel out a strong channel or multiple cast enemy ult. He is also pretty durable with natural ADC like attack speed in trades late game.

The Modset: I like running this modset simple because I feel it is very strong when used with Night Bats. You get the early damage boost from Coda and Claymore with the extra durability from the armor mod. The pen mods are also very strong vs. squishy targets. And then you will get your Axe and it will be like true damage on many targets.

The Build: Start off with marauder knife T2 with 2 health pots and head into the jungle. Now start build Coda to T3 as fast as possible before rushing Claymore to cap. Using this stronger version of Claymore when you ult, or participate in a clean up is very important. It will greatly increase your damage output versus a high importance target and that can turn the tide of many fights.

I know build up T2 Sword of Beowulf. Some games I will even grab T1 before I cap Claymore. This is because I use Nightmare Batman top jungle so I often will need some armor to mitigate damage I take in ganks which means I stay out actively on the field. The more time I stay in the field of play, the more farm I will get. I now pick up an attack armor item. Booster Gold's and Metallo's heart are great picks here. If you are one of those who dives towers to secure a kill, go with Booster Gold's. If the enemy team has multiple champs that rely on attack speed to do damage, Metallo's heart is the no brainer. Both give cdr, and that is a stat you want to grab a decent amount of.

Once you have that attack armor item set, I cap Sword of Beowulf if I haven't already and pick up Atomic Axe. After I cap this, I move onto my other item options. Need more damage? Crossbow is very strong as a late game item with Night Bats. With your E you will have massive attack speed getting a lot of the procs off. Want more CDR with the damage? Both Utility Belt and Timepack give you that bonus utility stat. Need to stick around in fights longer? Look at katana or another armor item. Need to counter a lot of hard CC? Mobius Core is there for you.

"The How" Jungling: Position yourself to hit as many creatures with your Q as possible. Now W onto the main creature in the camp and keep attacking that creature. It will fall fast once you invest in Coda. Now clear out the rest of the camp. Rinse and repeat. If your laner(s) keep the lane a little beyond half way down the lane, it is rather safe for you to invade and steal a camp. Night Bats can knock out a lot of champs once he gets Coda due to his natural high attack speed with E. He just is rather squishy so getting double teamed leaves you dead fast. This is why you should not invade unless your laner can get to you rather fast to help you escape.

"The How" Ganks: Start with your Q and then W onto your main target and E to chase down and keep the swarm on them. If they have an escape, don't use your psychic assault until they use it. There is no reason to waste the stolen power if they would escape anyway. Only use your ult if you have to, but you have to remember until you start building up CDR, your ult will have a 2 minute cooldown. Use this wisely, and try to keep it ready for teamfights. Keep this mind when using Deathstroke's too.

Teamfights: This one is rather easy. Ult the most threatening target. Starting a team fight off like this is very important. Now your team can focus them out while not worrying about their output. After that pressure the back line, or assassin without dying. Dying is bad.
