Infinite Crisis has shut down.
With its departure, Dawnbase will be going into permanent read-only mode and will remain as both an archive of information about Infinite Crisis, and a reminder of the times we all had with the game.
Hats off to you all. It was a pleasure, ladies and gentlemen.

Well the present is always the best time to catch up on things you let slide. Now on to posting one of those many guides on my back log.
Who's ready for some Coast City? One major change from the GD midlane guide is that you absolutely need to take meteor drop now. Not stopping hard aggressive pushing early on GD wasn't that large of an issue if you stayed alive. On CC the drones now have more credits early, and just the fact Coast City can be snowbally, you want to not lose major ground early through missed last hits and so on.Â
Build Path: Start out with Nil ring, 2 health and 2 will vials. Start building Energy Lance and Dreamstone now. Once you get Lance 3 and Dreamstone 2, rush Cosmic Staff to cap. It isn't as strong as it used to be, but you will be able to spam apply it to your enemy still. This will still do a lot of damage over time and help you out in lane. Rush Starheart once Staff is capped, but you will probably want to take Dreamstone to T3 to make use of the mod before getting to deep into Starheart.Â
Now build the optional item you need/want. Most of the time I am looking for a defensive item to counter the highest amount of damage I am taking. Other popular choices are Eclypso's Diamond and Book of Eternity for more offensive prowess. Cap Energy Lance around this time.
Cosmic Belt is seeing some changes. Unfortunately they have not released the info yet. It may be a great early game item on champions like Catwoman again so keep an eye on it and try it out on launch.Â
Playstyle: Spam your Q and EQ combo to poke down your enemy. Zoning them out and away from their farm is the only way you can win the lane. Force them to miss skills, and prey on them with your constant damage. Close in whenever they are low, and you'll have plenty of time to farm. Don't worry about over extending too far because you'll have cams to spot jungle movement and you have a great escape.
In teamfights, trip up, and prey upon the closest squishy target. When it is safe, or if it's the angle you took, decimate the enemy adc. You have a lot of single target damage when your ult is up so use it to your advantage here.
There is not really much else to say other than have fun playing with this build. Also, use the rate feature. If you like a guide, give it a thumbs up, and if you think the maker is on crack, give it a thumbs down, It helps new players find the best guides easier.Â

A better executed Catwoman or Zatanna.

Really good build. Purpose have you got advice for the R ? When R Was activated , he's more profitable to engage close combat (E and A for damaged after) or play combo with EQ / EZEQ / or other, from a distance ? (sorry for my english !)

It changes situation to situation. If you are in a team fight, with R active, stand back and Q+W away in between Es. Keep your distance so you don't just get melted and can be a hard target to hit as you deal damage and interupt any of the damage dealers you can hit with W. If you have R active doing a mop up, get in closer and just constantly CC a target, or multiple if possible, so your team can take them out. If an assasin jumps on you, R and E through them, BA, any skill, BA, E, BA, skill and so on. I hope that helps.
