  • Infinite Crisis has shut down.

With its departure, Dawnbase will be going into permanent read-only mode and will remain as both an archive of information about Infinite Crisis, and a reminder of the times we all had with the game.

Hats off to you all. It was a pleasure, ladies and gentlemen.

Aquaman is by far one of the most underrated superheroes ever, but I am here to teach you how to shut the haters up.

    Aquaman's Abilities

    Rising Tide

This is Aquaman passive and its a pretty darn good one. After dealing damage with a skill, Aquaman's next auto attack will be empowered. The attack will deal extra damage and heal you. This can be your best friend if you remember to auto attack between skills.

    Trident of the King

This skill is primarily used to poke enemies or last hit drones from a far. The farther the trident travels the more damage it deal. If you get max range then the trident will deal twice as much damage then if it were point blank range. Also it reveals and marks the target.

    Stagger

This is your main CC in the form of a knockdown. The more health you build, the longer the duration of the knockdown. I like to max this last because of the low damage compared to the other skills.

    Undertow
This is your most reliable form of damage. If you manage to hit an enemy with the short dash, you'll get another proc to use free of charge in a 4 second window. Also since there can be 2 procs, there will also be 2 passive procs. Use this as a potent dueling skill or to escape.

    Might of Atlantis

Aquaman's ultimate is in fact 3 different ultimates. Each one depends on what skill you last did damage with, then you get a 4 sec window to choose if you want to use it. Also it has a super low cooldown for an ultimate ( 21 seconds max rank, 12.6 seconds max cooldown)

The first one is Surge, to get it use Trident of the King (Q). When activated you will dash to the target that you marked with the Trident of the King. This is best used as a gap closer or just if you want some quick damage. The damage scales on health so keep that in mind. Although the skill says you dash to your marked target, there is a range for this.

The second one is Wrath, to get it use Stagger (W). This deals extra damage based on the target's missing health. The skill is fairly weak on its own so the only time its good to use it when the target has around 20% health. It's pretty useful in finishing the Leviathan, Raider or Doomsday Device Guardian due to the missing health scale. This skill only increases in potency based on rank.

The third is is Capsize, to get it use Undertow (E). This is basically a buffed undertow but if it hits an enemy champ it'll throw them the opposite direction you were dashing. This is good in a team fight because it can displace an enemy. This will not deal damage to drones or jungle creatures. This scales on good ol' attack damage.

    Build

So starting out you should get Nil Weapon and [[Health Vials (3)]]. If you want to play defensive go for Nil Cloak. If you're really a stickler, you can replace Nil with Coda Blade (1).

The next item you'll build is Coda Blade (4) to get good early game damage or build [[Lobo's Chain (4)]] if you want a more defensive approach.

After that go for Claw Of Horus (3) for the nice passive and decent stats.

From that point on you can build whatever you need the most. If you are getting dominated by PD, opt for [[Mirror Master's Prism (4)]]or Sword Of Beowulf (3). If you're getting crushed by AD, go for Suit Of Sorrows (4), Fragment Of Mogo (3) or [[Booster Gold's Power Suit (3)]].

When choosing your Amps you can either go for lifesteal to get more sustain or go for attack penetration to deal increased damage.

For Stolen Powers, Consume and Healing Wave are good forms of sustain.

Psychic Assault is a good way to secure some kills or as an escape tool.

Go for Invulnerability if like you diving or just don't want to take damage.

    Aquaman's Skill Combos
Use these to maximize your potential to deal a lot of damage. Remember to insert an auto attack after every skill use.

    Tips & Tricks

If you are in a tight situation and need to escape wait in a stealth pad until the enemy comes and use W to get the knockdown, use E twice to get distance and if you still need to get more distance use your R. By that time you should've gained enough distance so they'll stop chasing you.

This is my first guide I ever made, so leave me some feedback and critique :)
