Items/Mods
both lvl 1 gambits modded and mod the 3rd is up to u. i switch it up alot. I first build my abin sur lantern to level 2 [[Abin Sur's Lantern (2)]] for the buff it gives. i then build my necklace of armour
Phantom Stranger's Necklace (2) for the buff as well. i do this because alot of players are newer to the game and last hitting the drones can be a task for some. so I run in and get the coins on the ground. coins for me, stacks for necklace. i then build the other items desired based on the enemy team comp. Raz [[Ra's al Ghul's Robe (2)]] is a MUST!
Spells/Rotation
Now the reason i try to max chains first is the duration of the chain is boosted by your bonus will and its a pretty scarry thing early game to be locked down and squishy. now my rotation. What i do is kinda simple but can be awkward for some. if you can ponder with me......In game my rotation to engage is to Q into my enemy. (not really worried about the KNOCK down we want LOCK downs.) then i quickly Q my self into the enemy.
Surprise! then i instantly hit my chains(W) to slow them yes it slows them, till locked down. I DO NOT throw my lantern and hit W for engages....
the lantern is a stationary object.. easy to get away from that! instead
I run with the enemy till the lock down pops.
then i throw my lantern for a lil bit of dmg and pick it back up. possibly doing it again if quick.
but if the squishy enemy does start to get out of the range then you can throw the lantern in the general direction he is running insuring the lock down on atleast one player. 9/10 times i get 3 or more enemy lock downs in my team fights. weather or not my team engages of that is up to YOU and
pinging like crazy saying im going in. so keep in mind it works if done correctly.
ROTATION Q into enemy Q so you appear in the enemy. W for the chains and slows. E for a lil bit of dmg. gl and happy hunting.
p.s this has also been shown to and played by IC_Achy on stream and thought
VERY highly of it. after playing the lantern chains way. he tried this and used it there after
