  • Infinite Crisis has shut down.

With its departure, Dawnbase will be going into permanent read-only mode and will remain as both an archive of information about Infinite Crisis, and a reminder of the times we all had with the game.

Hats off to you all. It was a pleasure, ladies and gentlemen.

Why Stargirl on Coast City?: Despite some animation issues, and the fact her highest output skill is rather easy to dodge outside of a chaotic team fight, she is a solid champion when played right. If you learn to play around her issues, she is a strong and fun champion to play.

As always, let's talk about the modset first. I My mods are Enhanced Dreamstone, Enhanced Energy Lance and Empowered Cosmic Staff. Even with the nerf to Disintegrate 2, it synergizes with what Stargirl does too well not to take it.

Stolen Powers: Take some combo of any healing wave, Green Lantern Meteor and Robin Cams. Robin Cams are the best cams right now in my opinion just because of the extra charges, and Green Lantern Meteor is the best meteor. It can be used to delay enemy plays or wave clear.

The Build: Start the match with Nil Ring and 3 tekk vials. Rush Energy Lance to T3 before picking up Dreamstone T1/2 for will sustain. Once you are happy with the sustain you are getting, rush Cosmic Staff to cap. From here go T3 Dreamstone, and build Starheart. Once Starheart is capped, cap Energy Lance.

Now you are onto your options. If there is no major power armor on the enemy team, Book of Eternity will be a waste of credits so keep that in mind. A good counter to power reflect is Oa Gambit and/or Eclypso's Diamond. If you find yourself being focused hard, and can trust your team to peel for you if you give them a few seconds, build Neron's Contract.

Laning: Poke with your Q, it is so powerful. And once you get Cosmic Staff at the start of mid game, it becomes one of the most powerful skills in the game. Be careful of the long fuse time though. If you can read your enemy, it isn't all too hard to land, but still can be tricky.

Also, don't use your W for long distance poke or trades. It is too unrealiable, and eats too much will to spam it constantly. This goes out the window if you are laning against a dunce that just sits there infront of his wave.

If the enemy laner gets aggressive, and you have a clear shot at him, throw your E out so that he has to go a good ways through it to escape and use then use your W followed by Q to maximize your damage onto them.

You have no guarenteed escape, so laying cams is important. Taking Robin's cams means you can stay out there a long time before having to worry about basing.

Teamfights: Stay back and drop your E into the middle of the enemy team at the start. Fire off your W and your Q. This combo will do a lot of damage. Spam your Q every time it is up in a team fight. It is absolutely devasting if you can use it 2 or 3 times while hitting multiple enemies. Once you have Energy Lance capped, you can kill anyone easily. When an enemy assassin dives, or a carry goes to far, ult them to remove an chance of escape so your team can squash them.

That's it. Literally, that is it. Stargirl is an easy champion to play, and is very fun.
