Infinite Crisis has shut down.
With its departure, Dawnbase will be going into permanent read-only mode and will remain as both an archive of information about Infinite Crisis, and a reminder of the times we all had with the game.
Hats off to you all. It was a pleasure, ladies and gentlemen.

Welcome to my first guide!
Introduction
I love playing Shazam. He's my most favorite bruiser and favorite champion in the game to play, mainly due to how powerful his passive is. I like to play bruisers as tanks, but with Shazam, I can stack pure damage and still have thousands of HP. This guide helped me wreck enemies as Earth's Mightiest Mortal... and you can, too!
Stolen Powers
Flash's Super Speed is a must for chasing or escaping, even with you ult and/or the Kryptonian Armor. As for Shazam's Invulnerability, it can not only get you lasting seconds in fights, it can heal you if the shield somehow stays on long enough.
Amplifiers
I call my amp set "Power of Zeus," because it's all about power damage and health. Use enhancement mods for the Atlantean Royal Seal, Psi-Scimitar and Cosmic Staff. Use augments that provide Health, Move Speed, Power Damage, Cooldown Reduction, Power Lifesteal and Power Penetration.
Items and Strategy
Early on, grab the Nil Cloak and Atlantean Royal Seal (1). This will earn you a little more survivability in the early game. Besides, Shazam is very weak at ths time. Play safely.
I recommend going top with Shazam, although he's perfectly capable of going bot. This is just so Shazam can have some support backing him up.
You'll want to aim for the following items when the game progresses: Atlantean Royal Seal, Cosmic Staff and Psi-Scimitar. All of them provide great damage and health when your passive is maxed out.
The Fragment of Mogo and Kryptonian War Armor are also very useful, as the Fragment's toggle power can be used to do more damage to everyone around you than Lightning Field ever could and the Armor provides more healing and a better escape and chase. Plus, they both got defense boosts, the Kryptonian Armor gives health regen and the Fragment has more health to add on to Power of Zeus.
In the late game, where Shazam is at his strongest, the last item slot (when I play) is usually filled by either the Blue Scarab or the Book of Eternity for when they start stacking armor. The Scarab, on the other hand, is also great for even unarmored enemies as every basic attack steals Power Armor from your foes and deals additional Power Damage.
If the enemy doesn't worry about armor, grab Pandora's Box for the extra cooldown reduction, power damage and move speed.
Other options for building include swapping the Fragment and Kryptonian Armor for Ra's al Ghul's Robe and one of the other items in the Optional section, usually the Book or Starheart for me.
As for strategy, it's to guard squishy teammates, shut down enemy carries and grab the middle point. Basic stuff. Your skill combo should consist of R+Q+W.
People you can Tolerate
[list]
Doomsday: I mean, come on. He's as tanky and great at killing as you are, if he knows how to play properly.
Poison Ivy: Great mix of tank and support. A useful tactic is to charge into battle with her thorns, Mystic Defense and Invulnerability all on at the same time. The resulting shield will be insane.
Batman Prime: He. Just. Destroys. He's great at CCing enemies for you to then Ult and W.
Robin: His ult gets the carries off your back and grants you extra power damage when in his proximity. Giving Shazam extra Power to add on to his Power? That is awesome.

People you Can't Tolerate
[list]
Atomic Wonder Woman: I just find her way too overpowered and good at killing me before I can land Mystic Power on her. If I try to run, she ults me. If you are fighting a fed AWW, make sure Doomsday is by your side. Or some extensive Attack Armor.
Catwoman Prime: Again, she's an overpowered blaster. Her W is too big of a slow, even if it's not on par with Green Lantern Prime's W. This just leaves more room to keep using her E+Q combo until the Stamina of Atlas fails you. Keep the Suit of Sorrows on hand if she's super fed.
Gaslight Batman: Notice a pattern here? AD Carries with overpowered skills?
